We use high quality lens designs that are easy to adapt to and great to see with.

You can choose thinner lenses, Transitions, polarised prescription sunglasses etc.

Myopia control glasses are now available to reduce children becoming shortsighted. Other myopia control treatments we offer include low dose atropine drops, orthokeratology, Misight 1 day contact lenses.

Lens Coatings

We use high quality coatings on the lens surface that last for years - including: Hard coat, Anti-reflection, Blue light anti-reflection, Filters and tints for glare reduction.

Glasses - subsidised

Glasses start at $51 (Victorian Eyecare Scheme) every 3 years.

Department of Veteran Affairs (gold card) - No cost for eligible patients.

Glasses For Kids - glasses available from this Victorian school screening program.

VASSS is a government scheme for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders providing glasses for $10.

Prescription sunglasses are available - Polarised or non-polarised or Variable tint - depending on you needs.

Regular sunglasses include Maui Jim, Oroton, Police, Fila, Bill Bass, Furla, Longchamp, Jaguar, Zeal, Fit over sunglasses.

eyedrops

Dry eye is a common problem that often waxes and wanes. It makes your vision poor and variable so treating it properly can make you feel and see better. Not all drops are the same. Lubricating drops have many different ingredients to make them more oily or thicker or less preservatives. We can advise which drops are best for you. Sometimes prescription drops are the best for your eye problem - we can prescribe what you need.

Swimming goggles in your prescription available. Try a sample pair for fit.

safety glasses

Medium impact prescription safety glasses - Matador and Ugly Fish certified safety glasses available. Great for farmers, fencing, industry etc. Companies can contact us to discuss safety glasses for their staff.

repairs

On-site workshop allows us to make repairs to glasses and refit you own frame with lenses within 2 hours (conditions apply - lens type, frame type etc). Titanium and complicated repairs may take 2 weeks.

Warranty

Optical Frames are guaranteed against manufacturing faults for 2 Years from date of purchase.

Sunglass Frames are guaranteed against manufacturing faults for 1 Year from date of purchase.

Lenses are guaranteed against manufacturing faults and coating problems for 2 Years from date of purchase.

Prescription and Progressive adaptation: we will replace lenses within 3 months from date of purchase when our prescription is not suitable and product is supplied by us and there is no other medical or ocular reason for the change. Progressive lenses will be replaced with 1 pair distance and 1 pair near lenses or with bifocal lenses. Refund of lenses or frames may occur if a satisfactory result cannot be achieved (does not include fitting fees).
